The town of Carmel Fire & Rescue Department provides fire suppression, emergency medical service in a first responder capacity, and technical rescue within the town's limits. The department will also, upon request, provide mutual-aid with surrounding departments. The staff works at a fire station located next to the town office on Safety Lane. We are organized into rotating shifts that provide 24-hour coverage.
