Recreation Field

FOR THE TOWN OF CARMEL
A. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The Carmel Recreation Field is an athletic, recreational facility, which has been established for the use of resident athletic leagues and organized groups and residents from the Town of Carmel. The intent of this ordinance is to preserve and protect the field against damage.
B. SCHEDULING

All scheduling of recreational/athletic events will be done by the Recreation Committee (Recreation Director). All other events will be scheduled by the Town Manager and/or the Board of Selectmen.
C. GENERAL RULES

1. Operation of motorized vehicles is not permitted on the fields.
2. No Horses are permitted on the fields
3. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the field.
4. The group or team representative must assure that all trash is removed and gates locked when an event is completed.
5. Persons with pets on the fields must clean up any messes left by the pet.
6. Practicing golf is not allowed on the fields.
7. Parking of automobiles shall be confined to parking lots only.
8. All posted hours must be adhered to.
9. Any injuries requiring professional medical attention shall be reported to the Recreation Director including a written account of the incident.
10. Problems or concerns with field maintenance shall be reported to the Recreation Director.
11. Maintenance of the Recreation Field shall be the responsibility of the Recreation Committee (Director).
